Delete your ShelfHive data
Last updated: October 29, 2026
The short version. If you never signed in, your collection exists only on your phone and we hold nothing. If you did sign in, you can delete your cloud backup yourself in under a minute, or ask us to do it.
Delete it yourself, in the app
- Open ShelfHive, tap the menu (☰) and choose Settings.
- Under Backup & account, tap Delete my cloud backup and confirm.
- Then tap Sign out, so the app does not make a fresh backup the next time it saves.
What gets deleted
- Your cloud backup: titles, formats, wishlist, notes and poster links.
- Your shared wishlist link and any “I’ll get this” marks on it.
- Any plan or account settings stored for you on our server.
Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. Cached barcode lookups are not tied to you and are not part of your account.
What stays on your phone
Deleting the cloud backup does not touch the collection stored on your device. To remove that too, use Save a backup file first if you want a copy, then clear ShelfHive’s data in your browser or phone settings, or uninstall the app.
Can’t use the app, or want us to do it?
Email our contact email from the Google account you signed in with and ask us to delete your data. We will confirm once it is done.
